Pre Written Speeches

Your knees have turned to rubber and your throat feels like a dust storm just blew through, simply because you have just been asked to speak at a wedding. That reaction is not uncommon for most people, because surveys have shown that in general the average person would rather be dead than to stand in front of a crowd and speak. But since it is a wedding speech you have to give, you do have the option of using pre written speeches that can help you out in a pinch.

You now can get up in front of a crowd with pre written speeches knowing full well that you have a hot-shot speech to give. These pre written speeches are well written terrific speeches, and depending on where you are able to find them, some can be very expensive. But, if you want to impress the crowd and not have a panic attack trying to write a wedding speech, these pre written speeches are the way to go.

Many people who have to give a wedding speech do resort to using pre written speeches simply because they know they are written by professionals and are worth every penny they have to spend on them. They know the material and the style will be good and they will end up with a great speech that will do the job for them, and if your literary base is rather shaky, leaving the speech writing to a professional is a good move by using pre written speeches.

But, be careful about using pre written speeches. They are written by professionals, yes that's true........but they are written using a generic template so the same framework can be used for many different speeches. With that in mind, you may get a speech that is rather impersonal and does not say effectively what you want about the people involved in the occasion. Pre written speeches sound wonderful, but tend to be bland.

Because of that fact, you could still use pre written speeches but you may have to rewrite some of it to make it fit the situation at hand and include some personal facts about the couple or others..........the people involved.

Also, you can change some lines around and insert your own speech patterns and favorite expressions so the speech sounds like you speaking and not a pre written speech. You want to remember to insert some pertinent facts that relate to the occasion and also remember to use or tweak the names of the bridal couple so you are not using the names included in the pre written speeches. You don't want to wish Tom and Jane good luck, when you meant to say John and Mary.
